Thought of the Day
Daydreaming about goals and aspirations is unhealthy when one never moves from just saying, "one day." Handle what needs to be handled today to prepare you for tomorrow.

"Pay No Mind"
When your critics emphasize your flaws & faults, don't let it impede your progress. Though it hurts at times, it can't stop you. Know that their behavior towards you is superficiality; shallowness at it’s best. You just happen to be a public target of their own private deficiencies.

Monday Matters: Rest
Slowing down for a minute or taking a break is far from being lazy. Rest precedes creativity and production. Rest helps to restore and renew our physical, emotional & spiritual lives. When we seek rest, especially if we stay busy, those around us will rest as well. So make the most of your downtime this week to maximize your efficiency and influence by resting.

Monday Matters
Being exceptional often calls for one to be the exception. So never fear being who you are or being your best for the fear of being by yourself.

Monday Matters
I ran across this quote recently... "A good enemy is a better person than a false friend." Either way they're still people simply acting out of a need. Often times the need is to be loved. If you find both in your life, enemies & false friends, be sure to share with them the gift that keeps giving, “Love.” And when you do, you will discover that their attempts to hurt you have only made you stronger.

Thought of the Day
Focus...
Let's have a greater sense of focus this year. Don't be driven by every and anything that entices your passions and desires. It's okay to know & center in on your purpose, on purpose. It will strengthen every aspect of your life and will make you a greater impact on the lives around you. "A life of impact is about the one thing I do, not the twenty things I dabble in." ~ Dr. Howard Hendricks

Leave It Behind... in 2009.

Dictionary.com says a habit is an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary. Cultivating a lifestyle that produces greatness depends on our habits. The sum of our good and bad habits will dictate who we will become. Which habits will you choose to keep or get rid of this year in order to help you become your best?
